Dan also knew, simply because he was marrying the love of his life. In his best man speech, his brother said Dan knew Angela would be his wife before they even dated.
Dan prepared for the day at the Motor City Casino Hotel, and Angela prepped blocks away at the bridal suite at the Masonic Temple. They exchanged Shinola watches they had picked for their wedding day. Dan rehearsed his vows as he waited to see his soon-to-be wife during their first look. You could see the compassion for one another as they embraced. Stops were made at their favorite Detroit landmarks prior to the ceremony, but non were as important as Campus Martius, as it’s where Dan proposed to Angela in the rain after dinner and drinks.
Personal vows were exchanged, a first kiss was had, and a mariachi played them out of the Masonic Temple’s chapel. They were official. Later in the ballroom, meaningful dances were done, sentimental toasts were given and the cake was cut. As dessert was served, Angela and Dan escaped to the rooftop.
A top the city, on a clear, calm night, they finally stood as Mr. and Mrs. Loyd.
