When we initially scheduled Heidi + Paul’s Ann Arbor engagement photos, we were all shooting for fall color. The rain changed our plans and delayed their session a few months, but personally, we’re awfully grateful. The lush greenery and purple blooms look pretty gorgeous right now!

We had the best time getting to know these two. We learned very quickly that Heidi + Paul are a power couple. These University of Michigan grads are incredibly intelligent, witty, athletic and beautiful (just reference these photos).

We are so glad they chose Gallup Park… It was so refreshing to photograph such a unique Ann Arbor park! Heidi + Paul often run on these trails, so it was an added bonus to incorporate a location significant to their relationship.

So often before an engagement session, our couples ask us for advice about what they should wear. For spring and summer photos, we’d point directly to these two! The movement in Heidi’s dress was perfect.
