There’s nothing more special than being asked to be part of a couple’s wedding. It’s a huge responsibility to document such a memorable day, but also an immense privilege. We will always remember Laura and Bryan‘s Ann Arbor, Michigan wedding as one of the most special days we could possibly experience. We met while photographing Laura’s older sister’s wedding at the Homestead in northern Michigan. After spending more time with Laura and Bryan during their engagement session, we knew they were meant to be husband and wife. After deciding a smaller wedding celebration was a better fit for them, they decided to tie the knot prior to their summer wedding date. We were honored they asked us to document their day, but it meant the world when they asked us to be their witnesses.
Laura and Bryan’s intimate day fell just a few days before Christmas. After Bryan helped his soon-to-be wife into her beautiful, lace wedding dress, we headed to the NICHOLS ARBORETUM on the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN campus to read their handwritten vows. They were married at the University of Michigan Museum of Art during a gorgeous, quiet ceremony. It so sweet to witness such an honest, genuine ceremony between two people truly wanting to spend their life together. The evening ended at Cafe Zola where the bride and groom cut the cake. They even invited to share a slice and a champagne toast with them. Laura and Bryan- thank you for allowing us to be a part of your big day. We truly cherish the time we have spent with you. We are so excited for the amazing celebration you are planning this summer!
