Sara + Michael‘s Ann Arbor wedding was perfect.

To us, weddings are always about the moments. There are usually stunning details, delicious desserts and a to-die-for wedding dress (AKA Sara’s vintage wedding gown), but in the end, it’s about the story. It’s made up of moments – the big ones and the quiet ones alike. Sara + Michael’s wedding story, in particular, was rich in emotion.

They prepped and celebrated at the Ann Arbor City Club. (This is one of our favorite venues! If you are looking for an intimate location, we’d recommend reaching out!) So many sweet moments happened here. In the hallway downstairs, Sara’s mom saw her daughter as a bride for the first time. (Trust me, I was shooting through tears!) Just outside, Sara approached her soon-to-be husband and squeezed his butt during their first look. At the end of the night, she sat with her grandmother and clutched her hand. Sara’s tattoo says “Love you more” in her handwriting.

In his speech, the best man described a look Michael gets whenever he is around Sara. He called it the “Sara Smile.” This is a real thing, you guys! These two GLOW when they are together! We couldn’t imagine a better team, and we know they will be unstoppable together.
