From the moment I met Marissa at The White Dress, I adored her preppy style. And from the moment Marissa and Kyle became engaged, we knew their Brighton, Michigan wedding would be filled with beautiful details and – of course – a stunning wedding dress. Without fail, Marissa and Kyle absolutely blew us away. Their glamorous Great Gatsby inspired wedding day transported each guest back to the 1920’s. Mt. Brighton‘s recently renovated venue provided the perfect space for long tables adorned with gold details, sequins and feathers.
Their wedding fell on a gorgeous, sunny day in April. Marissa spent the morning alongside her family and bridesmaids at her sister’s condo in downtown Howell. Once she stepped into her seriously breathtaking Madison James wedding dress, we walked across the street to meet her groom. We made our way to downtown Brighton for bride and groom portraits, and we soon found ourselves outside The White Dress. (If you haven’t heard us mention how much we adore this bridal boutique, we’ll stress again – we love these girls! Marissa is the assistant shop manager there!) One of our favorite moments of the day happened when the girls from TWD saw Marissa for the first time as an “official” bride. They peered out the window and cheered as she approached with her handsome groom.
We could not have imagined a more perfect day for a couple who spends so much time making others smile. Mr. and Mrs. Barton, you deserve the best today and every day of your marriage. Thank you for inviting us into your lives. Cheers to you!
