We couldn’t imagine a day that celebrates and embodies a couple more than Vanessa and Travis‘s Frankenmuth, Michigan wedding.
About a week before their big day (and a few days after Vanessa returned from a summer studying in Greece), we met up with Vanessa and Travis to finalize scheduling details. We spent hours catching up and realizing just how much we had in common. We could not have been more excited to witness these high school sweethearts tie the knot. When we arrived in Frankenmuth the morning of their wedding, it was immediately evident how much Vanessa and Travis value their family and friendships. There was nothing but love and laughter throughout the entire day. We will never forget the popsicle stick masks the bridal party made using different pictures of the bride and groom. The masks made an appearance at the bachelor and bachelorette parties, and they hilariously returned for the wedding.
Travis and Vanessa had the most beautiful pink and gold details at the Frankenmuth Brewery. Beautiful flowers arranged by a close friend filled the lower level. Delicious (and adorable) cupcakes lined the dessert table. Vanessa arranged for there to be several vegan options so guests could see how good vegan desserts can be. Best of all, there was a wedding piñata. Guests were encouraged to leave jokes, advice and words of encouragement inside for the bride and groom to pop open on their one year anniversary. And as soon as the bubbles were released during Vanessa and Travis’s first dance, we knew the reception would be just as memorable.
We are so thankful for your friendship, Vanessa and Travis. Thank you for including us on your big day!
