Nichole and Alex’s Lake Huron Wedding

Nichole’s family cabin in Au Gres, Michigan on Lake Huron was the perfect location for a rescheduled and slightly delayed wedding day. Their elopement was held on the beach in front of the dock under a handmade pergola where their best friend officiated their ceremony.

Their first dance was under the shade of a massive tree on the property looking out onto the blue water. The cool breeze from the lake made the sunny July day incredibly comfortable. Guest gathered closely to watch Alex and Nichole cut their cake, which they of course shared with Jojo, their dog.

What a way to spend your wedding day. Surrounded by your closest friends and family on a beautiful beach in your family’s backyard. Creating new memories in a place that already holds so many for them.
