Where do we begin with Andrea + Kirk’s Milford, Michigan engagement? First and foremost, we adore these two as individuals and as a couple.

I have known Kirk since high school. He is incredibly creative, selfless and hilarious. Kirk is also the artist and brain behind our logo. When Matt and I decided to launch our business and pursue our dream to be wedding photographers in metro Detroit (our home base), Kirk was the first person we contacted to bounce ideas off of. We feel forever indebted to him. It was an absolute honor when he asked us to be his document his wedding.

We knew Andrea had to be something special by the way Kirk described her, but you guys – you have no idea just how sweet she is until you meet her. She is intelligent and kind and the epitome of girl power. We bet you would love her just as much as we do.

We are so excited to finally share their engagement photos at Proud Lake State Recreation Area. We even have a sweet little surprise at the end.

Many times when we share engagement sessions, we can only write about the proposal. It is an absolute privilege to share Kirk’s thoughtful, heartfelt proposal to his wife. (As if the whole illustrating-a-proposal-video isn’t sweet enough, Kirk asked his parents and Andrea’s parents to narrate. Grab a tissue and enjoy!)
