Last fall, we had the privilege of photographing Ashley and Matt’s Milford, Michigan engagement at a location dear to their hearts. We hiked back to their “spot” in Kensington Metropark where Matt proposed to his future wife. They spent many afternoons exploring the beautiful park, having picnics and talking about their future. We adored celebrating these two in place so special.

We were thrilled when we met Ashley a few years ago through our favorite bridal boutique, The White Dress. (You might recognize her, ladies… She may have helped you find your dream dress!) We thought it was hilarious when we learned her boyfriend’s name was also Matt. We knew the day would come when we would work with another couple who share our names, but we weren’t expecting to have so much in common! As we walked back to their spot, we heard about their love for the Detroit Red Wings and dogs. (SAME!) They also talked about how excited they were to start a family. In the meantime, they are currently parents to several foster dogs and cats.

They will be tying the knot this October at the Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek. We are so excited to see the beautiful dress Ashley will stun Matt with on their wedding day!
