Lanie + Tim held their wedding at Misty Farm, located six miles outside of downtown Ann Arbor. The 2400 square foot historic barn sits on 16 acres of land with beautiful gardens, a pond, wetlands and includes horses. It’s the perfect venue for a September wedding in Michigan.

We first met Laine + Tim at Ashley’s in Ann Arbor and shared a few beers. We immediately hit it off with the two of them. We remember how impressed we were with Tim’s elaborate proposal story. Here’s the super-short version… Tim flew to Prague to surprise Laine while she was backpacking across Europe with her sister. He even planned flowers and an orchestra!

Laine + Tim’s outgoing personalities and their planning made their wedding day so special. Between the ceremony and cocktail hour, they took their wedding party to their favorite cider mill, The Dexter Cider Mill, for cider and donuts. The entire day was filled with laughter and good vibes.
