October is an incredibly special month for Courtney and Rian. In 2014, Rian dropped to his knee in northern Michigan near a tree carved with their initials and asked Courtney to be his wife. After a few weeks together at home, Rian returned to his post in Alaska to serve our country.  Finally, in October 2015, he finished his time in the United States Army and came home to his soon-to-be wife. Just a few weeks later, we celebrated their Northville, Michigan engagement at Maybury State Park. Autumn in Michigan is usually unmatched, and, rightfully so, the stunning fall colors welcomed Rian home and these two back together.

We are so excited to see Courtney and Rian tie the knot this summer, and we can’t wait to see what this October has in store when they are as husband and wife. Cheers!
