Ellen and John are absolute gems. Not only are they two of the nicest people we have met, they are incredibly intelligent, funny and welcoming. Best of all, they are completely in love. They invited us over to their charming home for their Royal Oak, Michigan engagement session last fall. We met them early on a Sunday morning, and they greeted us with open arms. We chatted about their engagement story and wedding plans and shared many laughs.
Ellen also introduced us her gorgeous 1966 Ford Mustang she had purchased prior to meeting John. As a celebration for passing the Bar Exam, she found the vanilla colored Mustang and joined the group of multiple offers on the classic car. The previous owner loved the idea that Ellen lived so close to Woodward Avenue and would be able to take part in the Woodward Dream Cruise.
In 2014, John (who is a residential builder and co-owner of Edwin Anthony Homes) built a beautiful home about a mile away Ellen’s house. Ellen, who is obsessed with real estate (just like us), decided to visit the open house. Thanks to her curiosity, they met and fell in love. Ellen and John brought us back to the home for a quick “walk by!”
We absolutely adore these two. We can’t wait to share their Grosse Pointe wedding day on the blog in a few weeks!
