Weber’s Springtime Ann Arbor Wedding Photographer | Kari + Kyle

Kari + Kyle’s springtime Ann Arbor wedding at Weber’s was an absolute dream. Especially after they saw each other from across St. Mary Student Parish, their smiles were permanently on their faces.

K+K have the sweetest, most easygoing demeanor. We knew the moment we met them they were going to have a beautiful marriage… and if their wedding day is any indication of the rest of their story, we are bound to be right. Cheers, friends!

How would you summarize your wedding day?
“We wanted our wedding day to stay traditional. So, we decided to get married in the small city where we met and still live in today. On the day of the wedding, we each got ready with our closest friends and family before the ceremony at our local parish. We waited until the ceremony began to see each other for the first time that day. Seeing each other in that moment was well worth the wait! After the ceremony, we went around the city celebrating with our amazing wedding party. Our reception was at Weber’s Inn, one of our favorite restaurants in town. We danced the night away with all of our guests, and the day flew by. The best part was sharing our first day as husband and wife with all of our family and friends.”

What are your favorite moments from the day and why?
“We both agree that our favorite moment was seeing each other for the first time. We were so nervous right before the ceremony started, but as soon as we saw each other, all of our nerves went away. It always brings a smile to our faces thinking about the anticipation and excitement that lead up to this moment.

What was your first dance song, and what was the significance?
“Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. We played classic songs we liked and danced to them in our living room. Wonderful Tonight was the song we kept coming back to, so that’s how we knew it was right for us.”

What wedding advice would you give to other brides/couples?
“Don’t sweat the small details!”
